Concrete Contractor

Barefoot Concrete is a concrete contractor, we supply and place new concrete if required. We do plain grey concrete, exposed aggregate and coloured concrete. We also do decorative concrete resurfacing as well as excavation and site preparation.

Our concreting business grew out of the concrete coating business as many of our customers wanted new concrete to be placed. Therefore, we focus on domestic concreting services and do driveway and patio extensions, house surrounds, pool surrounds, shed slabs and pathways. We usually use plain concrete or exposed aggregate.

We arrange the excavation and take care of removing the excavated materials from the site unless it can be used in another area of the property.

Our concreter is very experienced, with over 40 years in concrete, we know what we are doing!

While we are very competitive in the niche construction and concrete industry, we are confident that we can source the right concrete contractor for your specific requirements that are sometimes difficult to find.

Concrete choices available today has expanded beyond plain great concrete, there are options like exposed aggregate, coloured concrete and an array of decorative options. A decorative concrete coating solution is one of the most reasonable ways to enhance the attractiveness of your home.

If you already have a concrete driveway, you can still give it a decorative makeover or you can add a new piece of concrete in a matching style. The concrete industry has introduced many products and methods that can transform concrete.

We are fastidious about surface preparation and all aspects of installing concrete. How well your concrete looks and performs long-term is largely related to the quality of workmanship and materials that go into it.

How do I find the right concrete contractor to install my driveway?

You’ve come to the right place! If you have found Barefoot Concrete you have found a reputable company that does things right and who have years of experience.

When you look for a contractor search Google and read Google reviews. You can shortlist and call them, if they are available they will help you, if not move on!

You can also ask friends, family, work colleagues and neighbours and if you see something that you like, ask the owner. Be sure to ask the homeowners about their experience with the contractor and the quality of the workmanship.

We recommend getting referrals from trade supply stores, homebuilders, tradies or local ready-mix concrete suppliers. You can also get names through your local directories.

Once you come up with a list of contractors, be sure to ask for references and get a list of projects in your area that you can review. Also ask how long the contractor has been in business and if they’re insured, whether they have any professional certifications, and if they offer a warranty for their work.

Once you have the work done, whether it is a new concrete driveway, paths, house surrounds or patio, it won’t take much effort on your part to keep it looking its best for many years to come.
